About the workshop

Welcome to Growing Together - you are invited to be considered for participation in a study concerning Parental Self-Agency (PSA). This study is looking for Indian parents who have been exposed to Western cultural beliefs through travel abroad or working for a Western firm and are now raising their children in India. The Growing Together (GT) online parenting program was developed in Pune, India. It provides an all-inclusive approach to family development that resynergizes cultural interpretations of a how-to parent through East and Western cultural harmonization.

About the facilitators

As mothers, who are passionate about connecting meaningful with their children, Geeta Bhansali and Viji Sharma, have been learning & applying skills of empathy, harmony and mindfulness over the last 9 years. Geeta is a certified ‘Heal Your Life’ trainer & coach, who has been working in the healing space for the last 20 years. Viji Sharma is a Certified Professional Coach for Parents. She uses principles of non-violent communication, solution focused brief therapy, narrative therapy and connection oriented tools in her work. Together they believe in creating a wonderful world for parents & children; a world in which they don't just survive but thrive.
